Most importantly, the author walks a person through an essential component that is lost in most diet books: a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The illustrations, exercises, and homework not only address inaccurate beliefs we have about God, ourselves, and food, but also challenge us to see our overeating as a symptom of a greater need for healing and transformation within.
